THE CHALLENGE

  • To provide a team of 200 Brand Ambassadors to spread the Telstra 4G message throughout Sydney on Launch day
  • To source 25 specialist hosts to manage the different pop-up acts happening around the CBD
  • To ensure the team fitted a required profile of being healthy, vibrant and energetic so that they could create maximum fun throughout the Sydney CBD and engage consumers to want to know more


THE SOLUTION

  • All potential Brand Ambassadors were not only phone screened and interviewed to ensure the correct people were booked, but also 'Personality Tested' online
  • A special training video, briefing PowerPoint and online questionnaire were created to ensure all staff had the brand knowledge needed for the day
  • Staff were placed in teams and given props to create fun and attention throughout the launch day
  • 4 internal Account Managers were flown to Sydney to oversee events and ensure the brief was fulfilled


THE OUTCOME

  • 'The Fun has Just Begun' Telstra 4G theme was a major success
  • 15,000 free music download cards were distributed
  • 200 staff feedback forms on consumers reaction to the day were collected
